Hack Brain : Brain Test - Tricky Puzzles In-Depth Review and Guide
Game mechanics and objective
Every level here looks like a normal puzzle at first glance, and that's exactly the trap. You get a question, an object on screen, maybe a slider or a button, and your gut tells you the obvious answer. Nine times out of ten, the obvious answer is wrong. The whole point of this thing is catching you off guard, forcing you to poke at the screen, drag stuff around, ignore the instructions a little, and notice details that most brain teasers wouldn't even bother hiding. Some stages test memory, some test reflexes, a few just want to see if you'll read the question twice before tapping anything.
Controller & Keyboard Guide
- Tap directly on objects, text, or shapes mentioned in the riddle — sometimes the answer is literally the question itself.
- Drag items across the screen when a puzzle seems stuck; movement often unlocks the real solution.
- Hold your finger down longer than usual on stubborn elements, since a few puzzles need a press-and-wait instead of a quick tap.
- Shake or tilt the device if a level hints at it, because physical motion occasionally counts as an input.
- Use pinch or swipe gestures on elements that look resizable, even when nothing on screen suggests you can.
Winning Strategies
- Read every line of text slowly, twice if needed — punctuation and wording hide the real clue more often than you'd expect.
- Ignore the "correct-looking" button; if a big obvious option sits front and center, that's usually bait.
- Try tapping things that aren't even part of the instructions, like the background, the title, or random scenery.
- Reset your assumptions between levels, since a trick that worked once rarely repeats itself the same way twice.
- Take a breath when you're stuck instead of mashing the screen; frustration usually makes you miss the tiny detail that solves it.
- Play with a friend nearby and argue over the answer — a second pair of eyes catches things yours will skip.
